Small Animal Ultrasound
Diagnostic ultrasound is a valuable test that uses high frequency sound to create a map of soft tissue in the body. This test is an operator-dependent diagnostic test, that when performed by veterinary imaging specialists, ensures retrieval of the most information.
Imaging specialists have up to an additional four years of advanced training and have also passed the specialist examinations on this modality. A mobile ultrasound service is available for local veterinary practice visits in the Sydney basin region.
Although the most information is gained at the time of the ultrasound study, if you have a case that you are not sure about, the images and short video clips that you take, can also be uploaded for further interpretation.
Imaging Vets offer a personalized service, provided for our veterinary clinics in a relationship of mutual trust, to achieve the best results for the patient.
