Small Animal Magnetic Resonance Imaging
MRI is a test that uses a magnetic field and pulses of radiofrequency energy to make an image of structures in the patient.
MRI is suitable for specific investigation of neurological and ear diseases, assessment of the margins of neoplasia, musculoskeletal injury and many more applications. Once the clinical signs have been localized to a particular body region, this technique is used to assess both the anatomy and the chemistry of the tissue.
We can help referring vets to find a suitable MRI location for studies.
DICOM image files from MRI studies are interpreted by our specialist radiologists. Imaging Vets offer a personalized service, provided for our veterinary clinics in a relationship of mutual trust, to achieve the best results for the patient.
